Once again our Australia Day Food Affair was a great success. The members went to such lengths to bring authentic Moroccan and Spanish dishes. The weather was very kind to us with expected rain holding off allowing all to spread out on the grass under a large tree – an idyllic setting. There was some challenging games of tennis between the younger couples with Ashley being the most consistent player forcing grand-dad Tony out of his chair. The Australian Open semi finals forced some dedicated followers to visit the kitchen where there was a large TV. Others made a timely exist to ensure they were home in time for the final rally.
